Construction Site Supervisor

About the role

1. Supervising and coordinating the work of construction crews, including workers, subcontractors, and equipment operators

2. Ensuring that all construction activities adhere to safety protocols, building codes, and project specifications

3. Monitoring the progress of construction projects and providing regular updates to the project manager

4. Identifying and resolving issues or challenges that arise on the construction site in a timely manner

5. Collaborating with the project team to plan and schedule work activities, allocate resources, and maintain project timelines

6. Providing training and mentorship to junior crew members to help develop their skills and expertise

7. Maintaining accurate records of project progress, including timesheets, material usage, and equipment maintenance

What we're looking for

1. Extensive experience (at least 1 year) as a Construction Site Supervisor or in a similar role within the construction industry

2. Strong understanding of construction methods, materials, and equipment, as well as a solid grasp of building codes and safety regulations

3. Excellent communication, problem-solving, and decision-making skills, with the ability to effectively manage and coordinate teams

4. Proficient in reading and interpreting construction drawings, specifications, and other technical documents

5. Proven track record of successfully delivering construction projects on time and within budget

6. Relevant certifications or training in construction site management, safety, or related fields would be an advantage
