Construction Project Manager
Location: Singapore
Employment Type: Full-Time (Weekends work are required)
The Construction Project Manager is responsible for planning, coordinating, and delivering construction projects in Singapore from pre-construction through completion. The role ensures projects are completed on time, within budget, and in compliance with BCA regulations, MOM safety requirements, and contract specifications.
Project Planning & Delivery
Plan, manage, and oversee construction works from design coordination to project handover
Develop project schedules, work programmes, and resource plans
Coordinate consultants, contractors, and internal teams to meet project objectives
Cost, Contract & Procurement Management
Manage project budgets, cost control, progress claims, and variations
Review tenders, quotations, and subcontractor appointments
Administer contracts in accordance with agreed terms and conditions
Site & Quality Management
Oversee site operations to ensure works comply with approved drawings, specifications, and quality standards
Review shop drawings, method statements, and technical submissions
Manage inspections, testing, defects rectification, and handover processes
Schedule & Progress Control
Monitor project progress and implement corrective actions for delays
Chair site meetings and issue regular progress and management reports
Safety, Regulatory & Compliance
Ensure compliance with MOM Workplace Safety and Health (WSH) requirements
Coordinate safety audits, risk assessments, and toolbox meetings
Ensure compliance with BCA regulations, statutory submissions, and authority requirements
Stakeholder & Client Coordination
Serve as the main point of contact for clients, consultants, contractors, and authorities
Manage stakeholder expectations and resolve site or contractual issues effectively
Degree or Diploma in Civil Engineering, Building, Construction Management, or related field OR Minimum 5 years of relevant construction project management experience in Singapore
Good knowledge of BCA regulations, MOM WSH requirements, and local construction practices
Experience managing consultants, main contractors, and subcontractors
Proficient in project scheduling, reporting, and cost control
BCA-recognised qualifications
Experience with residential, commercial, or infrastructure projects in Singapore
Familiarity with Singapore Standard Forms of Contract
