Oversee the planning, execution, and completion of construction works for daily site progress.
Manage field construction supervisors and plant and equipment supervisors to ensure effective coordination and execution of tasks.
Plan and manage temporary works, ensuring all necessary safety and regulatory requirements are met.
Ensure construction and equipment installation works are executed in accordance with contract specifications, engineering standards, and regulatory requirements.
Coordinate with subcontractors to ensure effective communication and collaboration throughout the project lifecycle.
Conduct regular site inspections and progress meetings to monitor project status, quality, and compliance with safety regulations.
Identify, assess, and mitigate potential risks and issues that may impact project delivery.
Implement best practices and continuous improvement strategies in construction management to enhance efficiency and outcomes.
Role Requirements:
Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or a related field.
Professional Engineer (PE) certification recognized by the Professional Engineers Board Singapore.
Minimum of 10 years of construction experience, with at least 5 years managing the construction of major building or bus depot projects.
Demonstrated experience in planning and executing complex construction projects.
Strong knowledge of construction methods, materials, and regulations.
Excellent project management skills, including the ability to handle multiple tasks and priorities effectively.
Strong leadership and team management capabilities.
Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to make informed decisions under pressure.
Experience with construction projects in Singapore or similar regions.
Familiarity with local construction codes and standards.
