Job Description
We are looking for a competent and detail-oriented Construction Manager with proven experience managing construction works in construction and process plant. The ideal candidate will lead site activities, coordinate multiple stakeholders, and ensure all works comply with regulatory and safety requirements specific to high-specification environments.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee the day-to-day execution of construction activities on site.
- Coordinate and supervise contractors, subcontractors, and vendors to ensure efficient workflow and compliance.
- Ensure works are carried out in compliance with project specifications, GMP, and safety regulations
- Lead project scheduling, resource planning, and cost control activities
- Liaise with consultants, engineers, and clients to resolve technical and site-related issues
- Review and approve method statements, shop drawings, inspection test plans (ITPs), and material submittals
- Manage site inspections, testing, and commissioning activities in line with validation protocols
- Monitor construction progress, prepare reports, and provide regular updates to management
- Enforce strict quality assurance and safety measures, especially in cleanroom and controlled environments
- Ensure timely completion of projects within budget and scope
Job Requirements
- Minimum 10 years of relevant experience in construction management
- Proven track record of delivering medium to large-scale construction projects
- Strong leadership, problem-solving, and decision-making abilities
- Familiar with local construction regulations, codes, and safety standards
- Excellent organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple tasks effectively
- Willing to work on-site and travel between project locations as required
