Lead the site construction team to ensure the timely delivery of projects, focusing on marine and port infrastructure and land reclamation
Coordinate closely with the Project Manager and clients on site execution matters, attending regular site meetings to report progress and resolve technical issues.
Oversee the detailed planning and programming of site works to align with project milestones and Commercial Operation Dates (COD).
Manage the site-based planning and utilization of main and auxiliary materials to support continuous site operations.
Supervise and coordinate all site engineers, foremen, and subcontractors, ensuring effective delegation and management of daily site activities.
Provide technical leadership on site in specialized areas such as foundation treatment, rockfill structures for embankments, marine reclamation sand filling, and bridge deck system construction.
Oversee the construction of port roads, storage yards, and associated infrastructure, ensuring compliance with specifications, quality standards, and safety regulations.
Liaise with employers and clients regarding site-related matters, including material management and work progress.
Support the project team in developing, monitoring, and maintaining project plans, schedules, and budgets, with a focus on site execution feasibility.
Resolve technical and operational challenges on-site to minimize impact on project timelines.
Ensure all site activities comply with Workplace Safety and Health (WSH) regulations, environmental standards (NEA), and contractual obligations.
Job Qualifications:
Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field.
Minimum 10 years of experience in construction management for infrastructure projects, preferably marine, port, land reclamation, or urban road works.
Strong site management and leadership abilities, with experience managing site engineers and subcontractors.
In-depth knowledge of construction methodologies for marine and transportation structures, including piling, earthworks, and heavy civil works.
Proficiency in project planning, scheduling, and site resource management.
Excellent communication and coordination skills for liaising with clients, consultants, and site teams.
Familiarity with Singapore's safety and regulatory requirements (BCA, LTA, NEA, MOM) is an advantage.
