Job Description

Responsibilities

  • Community Building: Own and execute Qapita's startup and venture capital (VC) community strategy across Southeast Asia
  • Events Strategy & Execution: Plan and deliver high-quality events (roundtables, workshops, mixers, webinars, etc) to drive top-of-the-funnel (TOFU) engagement
  • Ecosystem Partnerships: Build and nurture relationships with founders, operators, VCs, accelerators, and ecosystem partners to grow Qapita's presence and mindshare in the region.
  • Sales Pipeline Contribution: Drive pipeline impact nurturing TOFU and partner referrals into Marketing Qualified Leads (MQLs) and Sales Qualified Leads (SQLs)
  • Content & Branding: Establish Qapita as the thought leader in Southeast Asia through proprietary or co-authored content, such as eBooks, blogs, case studies, and reports.
  • Cross-functional Collaboration: Work closely with Sales, Marketing, Demand Generation, Customer Success, Consulting, Valuations, Secondaries and Product teams to drive growth.

Qualifications

  • Legally authorised to work in Singapore without requiring a work visa sponsorship.
  • Bachelor's or Master's Degree in Business Administration, Marketing or a related field.
  • Minimum two years of work experience in community, events, ecosystem, or marketing roles within B2B tech or startups space.
  • Prior experience in SaaS, fintech, or venture-backed companies is a strong advantage.
  • Strong network or demonstrated ability to build relationships within startup and venture capital ecosystems across Southeast Asia.
  • Excellent communication, coordination, and stakeholder management skills.
  • Highly organised, execution-focused, and comfortable working in a fast-paced environment.
