Job Description

Position Overview

We are looking for a Community Experience Specialist to grow and manage our global player community across platforms such as Discord, Reddit, and YouTube. You will play a central role in ensuring the community is active, engaging, and well-connected to the game. This position requires someone who is passionate about gaming, skilled in building relationships, and able to bridge communication between players and the studio.

Responsibilities:

  • Manage and expand our community across key platforms (Discord, Reddit, YouTube, etc.), ensuring it remains vibrant, engaging, and inclusive.
  • Monitor player discussions, capture and organize feedback, and collaborate with internal teams to translate insights into actionable improvements.
  • Keep players informed on updates and changes, ensuring they feel heard and valued as part of the community.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with core players, encouraging meaningful contributions and fostering high-quality discussions.
  • Stay updated on the game's mechanics, updates, and strategies to effectively connect player needs with development direction.
  • Act as a trusted bridge between the player community and the studio, ensuring clear, timely, and consistent communication.

Requirements:

  • Strong command of English, with excellent written and verbal communication skills for interacting professionally with global players.
  • Proficiency in Mandarin Chinese will be an advantage for engaging with regional players and stakeholders, though not required.
  • Familiarity with overseas community platforms (Discord, Reddit, YouTube) is essential. Active participation in gaming communities will be a strong plus.
  • Passionate gamer, with prior experience in strategy/SLG games, is considered an advantage.
  • Strong communication, coordination, and teamwork skills. Quick learner with a proactive mindset and sense of ownership.
  • Patient and professional, with strong stress resilience. Able to handle diverse player demands while balancing internal priorities.
  • Diploma or Degree in any discipline preferred. Prior experience in community management, player support, or related roles will be an added advantage.
  • Fresh graduates who are active gamers and community participants are encouraged to apply.
