Your Role in VT Markets
We are looking for an experienced and strategic Senior Manager, Community Management to lead and scale our community function across key markets. This role is responsible for building and nurturing a thriving ecosystem of retail traders, content consumers, and brand advocates, while directly managing a team of Community Managers across various geographies and platforms. As a senior leader, you will drive engagement strategies that connect the brokerage with its users in meaningful ways-enhancing brand trust, improving education, and supporting conversion and retention through grassroots influence and two-way communication.

Job Requirements

Team Leadership & Strategy
  • Lead, mentor, and develop a team of Community Managers in different markets or language groups.
  • Set clear goals, KPIs, and success metrics aligned with marketing and client acquisition/retention objectives.
  • Establish a scalable community playbook-including engagement principles, content guidelines, and moderation standards.
Community Engagement & Growth
  • Oversee the day-to-day management of online communities across Telegram, Discord, Facebook, Reddit, YouTube comments, etc.
  • Drive community-led initiatives that foster trader education, platform familiarity, and peer-to-peer interaction.
  • Launch localised activations, webinars, trading challenges, or offline meetups to boost loyalty and participation.
  • Collaborate with KOLs, IBs, and brand advocates to amplify community reach and influence.
Conversion & Lifecycle Support
  • Partner with clent relations and marketing teams to support lead conversion, client onboarding, and activation through community touchpoints.
  • Embed community within the trading lifecycle-from new user welcome to reactivation of dormant traders.
  • Facilitate FAQ response, trading tool guidance, and platform updates within the community to reduce support tickets and increase self-service.
Cross-Functional Collaboration
  • Work closely with marketing, CRM, product, and compliance teams to align messaging and campaign strategy across channels.
  • Provide real-time user sentiment and feedback to product and customer experience teams to inform improvements.
  • Support the integration of community insights into content, campaign, and product roadmap decisions.
Monitoring & Reporting
  • Track and analyse community performance using both qualitative insights and quantitative KPIs (engagement rate, growth, referrals, etc.).
  • Monitor community health, sentiment, and activity; proactively address risk, spam, or crisis management Issues.
  • Report on community contribution to broader business goals-such as acquisition, retention, and brand affinity.

Job Responsibilities

  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Business, or a related field.
  • 7+ years of experience in community management, social media, client engagement, or marketing preferably in fintech, trading, or crypto.
  • 3+ years in a people management role, with experience building or scaling community teams.
  • Strong understanding of trading platforms, retail trader behavior, and regional differences in engagement styles.
  • Excellent communication skills in English; multilingual ability is a strong advantage depending on region.
  • Hands-on experience with community platforms, moderation tools, analytics dashboards, and automation systems.
  • Strong stakeholder management skills and a collaborative mindset.
Preferred Attributes
  • Experience growing communities in APAC, MENA, or LATAM regions.
  • Passion for trading or financial literacy advocacy.
  • Comfortable with fast-paced, high-growth environments and cross-border operations.
  • Data-driven mindset, but with a human-first approach to community building.
