Job Description
- Draft and edit press releases, newsletters, internal announcements, speeches, presentations, and corporate materials.
- Ensure all communications align with brand tone, voice, and guidelines.
- Support media relations, including maintaining contacts, handling inquiries, and coordinating press events, interviews, and conferences.
- Monitor and report on media coverage and performance.
- Contribute to internal communications strategies, including intranet updates, staff announcements, and town hall support.
- Assist in planning and executing communication plans during crises or sensitive situations.
- Coordinate with cross-functional teams to ensure consistent and aligned messaging.
- Maintain communication calendars and track progress of ongoing projects.
- Support the execution of integrated marketing communication strategies and work plans, focusing on advocacy, community growth, and support for vulnerable groups.
- Collaborate with internal teams to deliver effective communications across multiple channels, including social media, websites, newsletters, and other digital/offline platforms.
- Develop and execute brand and online presence strategies through cohesive marketing communications.
- Provide end-to-end campaign support, including ideation, launch, optimisation, and performance reporting, with a focus on fundraising and volunteer recruitment.
- Conduct interviews with stakeholders (e.g., beneficiaries, donors, volunteers, team members) to generate compelling stories and strengthen outreach.
- Carry out market research and analyse insights to inform and enhance communication strategies.
Job Requirement
- Diploma or Degree in Mass Communications, Marketing, Public Relations, or a related field
- 2-3 years of relevant experience, especially in communications, branding, or marketing roles
- Experience in the social service or non-profit sector is an added advantage
