Job Description

This role involves developing impactful offline marketing materials, coordinating with internal teams and external partners, and ensuring consistent brand representation across all physical touchpoints, including retail stores, events, and printed collaterals.

You will support the Sales team in the development and implementation of marketing communication strategy for our broadband and/or mobile businesses. You must be experienced in developing marketing messaging, engagement, and through-the-line media strategy around anything from brand awareness to specific promotional and multi-channel campaigns

You will oversee offline channels marketing communications processes and be responsible for providing recommendations on how to reach our target audiences effectively with specific business objectives in mind.

You will analyze marketing trends and understand industry dynamics to provide recommendations on how to enhance competitiveness in the market while stretching the marketing budget.

Strong project management and communication skills are key for the role to convey the concept of briefs to the respective cross-functional teams. You will collaborate with team members from Product Marketing, Creative, Brand, IT, Customer Experience in your day-to-day duties.

The success of this role is measured by the effectiveness of marketing campaigns and the quality of campaign roll-out. A passion for storytelling and telecommunications is a plus.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop strategic and compelling marketing messaging that aligns with our brand voice and positioning, and effectively communicates the unique value proposition of our products and services in all campaign materials
  • Execute marketing communications strategy and provide innovative, actionable insights on copywriting, content and creative design for persuading target audiences across multiple offline channels
  • Lead and own offline channels (Retail, Dealers, Partner Program) and develop customer engagement strategies while managing marketing budget closely
  • Support Product Marketing and Sales via monthly roll-up promotional campaigns and ensure sufficient media coverage to generate awareness and traffic to retail stores
  • Support Product Marketing and Sales teams on Channel strategy that helps generate traffic to the shops, engagement, in-store footfall, leads and subsequent conversion
  • Manage channels to ensure products and promotions have consistent exposure
  • Coordinate design of promotional material and distribution in offline channels
  • Monitor, analyze, and report on the effectiveness of marketing campaigns and promotions, using data-driven insights to optimize future performance and ROI.
  • Set KPIs and benchmarks for all marketing communications campaigns and adjust strategies based on outcomes.
  • Work closely with internal stakeholders including Product, Sales, CX, and Customer Support to align marketing efforts with broader business goals.
  • Take ownership of assigned marketing budgets; plan and allocate resources effectively while maximizing cost efficiency.
  • Provide accurate budget forecasts and monitor spend vs. plan.
  • Ensure all communication is consistent with the brand's tone, messaging, and design guidelines.
  • Protect and evolve the brand's image across all owned and paid media channels.
  • Spending time offsite to ensure that all retail outlets are displaying the correct marketing collaterals in line with brand guidelines and current campaigns. This includes performing regular audits and store checks to maintain visual consistency and promotional effectiveness across locations.
  • Conduct field surveys on competitors to allow us to benchmark our offerings, observe market trends, and understand shifts in consumer behavior.
  • Plan and execute promotional strategies and communication tools, such as in-mall advertisements, digital placements on mall websites, and collaborative promotional efforts with mall management, all aimed at increasing brand visibility and driving foot traffic to our retail stores.

Required Knowledge and Skills:

  • Must be capable in working with spreadsheets and in developing insightful presentations
  • Fluent in marketing communication beyond traditional media
  • Ability to convert product information into customer-friendly language
  • Strategic thinker, able to execute marketing strategy to drive business outcomes
  • Good with Media Planning & Buying ie familiarity with media channels (offline), budgeting, and campaign planning.
  • Ability to interpret customer insights, analyze trends, and track competitor activities.
  • Experience with organizing product launches, trade shows, and promotional events.
  • Good with Content Creation and Project Management such as the ability to craft compelling content for various platforms (web, social, print), planning, executing, and managing multiple campaigns simultaneously.
  • Strong project management and organizational skills and ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong understanding of customer journey mapping, lifecycle marketing, and omni-channel marketing approaches.
  • Experience with marketing automation tools
  • Ability to evaluate creative concepts and media plans with a critical eye for effectiveness and relevance to target audiences.
  • Familiarity with telecommunications trends and how to position services competitively within the market
  • Strong grasp of data privacy regulations (e.g., PDPA/GDPR) in the context of digital and direct marketing
  • Knowledge of Google Analytics, Meta Ads, Mailchimp, Wordpress, and creative asset management software preferred
  • Knowledge of SEO, SEM, social media marketing, email marketing, and content strategy
  • Bachelor's Degree in Marketing related major
  • 2-3 years of working experience in brand or marketing communications or advertising
