What The Role Is
As a member of HDB's Strategic Communications & Engagement Group, you will be part of a dynamic team under the Engagement and Partnerships Department responsible for the development and implementation of communications and engagement strategies to promote understanding of HDB's policies and programmes.
What You Will Be Working On
The role involves but is not limited to:
- Conceptualisation, planning and implementation of HDB's communications and engagement strategy to build public trust and support, and obtain buy-in to ensure smooth implementation of HDB's policies, initiatives and programmes
- Develop a pool of credible third-party advocates who can support HDB's policies and programmes and amplify HDB's key messages to their networks
- Develop communications and engagement savviness and capabilities across HDB staff so that they can fulfil their role in enhancing and promoting the image and brand of HDB
- Spearhead crisis communications preparation and ensure communications readiness to manage a crisis to uphold public trust and HDB's reputation
What We Are Looking For
We are looking for an experienced communications professional who is skilled in stakeholder engagement and can tailor communication plans to promote understanding and advance support for HDB policies and programmes to a wide range of stakeholder groups.
You should possess an excellent command of English and strong interpersonal skills. Candidates must enjoy working with people and engaging stakeholders; and possess strong critical thinking skills. You should also have a keen interest in current and international affairs, thrive in a fast-paced environment and have an eye for detail.
Successful applicants will be offered a 1-year contract to start.
