Position at Nortek Data Center Cooling
The Commissioning Engineer is responsible for the overall CX testing work to a key strategic
account across APAC datacenter sites. His/her responsibilities will include start-up, test,
and operate innovative Nortek DCC HVAC system to ensure project delivery that meets Nortek
DCC and client's expectations.

- Responsible for leading, overseeing, and executing the commissioning process for Nortek
DCC equipment in multiple datacenter sites across the APAC region.
- Responsible for start-up, testing and commissioning of innovative Nortek DCC liquid
cooling equipment.
- Responsible for creating and executing and documenting start-up and commissioning
checklists for innovative Nortek DCC liquid cooling equipment.
- Responsible for troubleshooting innovative Nortek DCC liquid cooling equipment. This can
be mechanical, electrical, or controls in nature depending on the situation.
- Responsible for proactively reporting any issues found during commissioning and
operation to the engineering office & factory in the US.
- Lead and coordinate the commissioning process, providing guidance to commissioning
teams and collaborating with design, construction, and operational teams.
- Serve as the primary point of contact for commissioning activities, ensuring alignment with
project timelines and goals.
- Lead the team and assigned for completing service, commissioning tasks.
- Provide training for operational and maintenance staff.
- Compliance with all HSE policies, processes and ensure team followed.
Requirements
- A bachelor's degree in mechanical/controls engineering, with a minimum of 3 to 5 years
experience in HVAC/Datacenter industry.
- Relevant experience in commissioning critical systems, and data center environment
is preferrable.
- Relevant experience in electrical, mechanical and control troubleshooting of HVAC
equipment.
- Relevant experience in understanding and analyzing sequence of operations for
HVAC equipment.
- Strong knowledge in reading and analyzing schematics.
- Strong problem solving and analytical skills.
- Strong Experience in Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to provide solutions to complex problems under pressure.
- Effective written and verbal communications skills in English.
- Ability to travel aboard on a frequent basis.
- Knowledge of BIM 360, Facility grid, or Procore are added advantages
