Commis / Demi Chef de Partie
Responsibilities:
- Assist with the preparation and cooking of food to the restaurant specific standards
- Assist in basic food preparation tasks such as chopping, peeling, and measuring ingredients.
- Assist in maintaining stock control and minimizing waste.
- Ensure timely and efficient service to maintain the flow of the kitchen.
- Maintain a high standard of cleanliness and sanitation in and around all culinary work areas
- Always maintain a professional and positive attitude towards team members and supervisors.
- Other ad-hoc duties as requested.
Requirements:
- Excellent attitude and very hardworking
- Very passionate about food
- Attentive to details and meticulous to ensure smooth operations with minimal errors
- Good interpersonal skills so as to build good working relationships with colleagues, customers, and suppliers
- Ability to work independently as well as in a team
