Create CNC programs for turning operations tosupport production needs, including the preparation of FAT and FAI orders.
Provide troubleshooting support for CNC machines,including resolving program-related issues and making adjustments when new oralternative cutters are used.
Operate and work with machines such as DMG, MoriSeiki, Mazak, and systems using Fanuc and Siemens controls.
Coordinate and manage cutting tools, includingsourcing and ordering existing and new cutters from suppliers as required.
Monitor tool room staff activities, includingworkload, attendance, and daily scheduling.
Work closely with engineers to plan and alignmachining processes and methods.
Coordinate with engineers to ensure tool room schedules align with project timelines and completion targets.
Job Requirements:
Diploma / NITEC / Higher NITEC in a relevant field.
Relevant work experience and certifications.
Minimum 3-5 years of experience in CNC turningprogramming.
Experience in tool room management or supervision.
Strong knowledge of CNC turning programming.
Hands-on programming experience with Fanuc, Mazak,and Siemens CNC controls, including ShopTurn (Siemens).
Basic knowledge of CAD/CAM software (e.g.,Mastercam).
Good understanding of tooling, inserts, cuttingparameters, and materials.
Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
Good communication skills and ability to coordinatewith engineers and production teams.
Able to work in a fast-paced machine shop environment and manage multiple priorities.
Able to work independently with minimal supervision.
