Job Summary
You will program and operate Hurco or Fanuc CNC milling machines, interpret technical drawings, perform inspections, troubleshoot equipment, and maintain quality and safety standards to meet project deadlines efficiently.
Responsibilities
- Program and set up Hurco or Fanuc CNC machines to prepare for milling operations
- Operate CNC milling machines to produce parts according to specifications
- Interpret technical drawings to ensure accurate machining and setup
- Perform raw material checks and machine parts following detailed work instructions
- Conduct in-process inspections and accurately record results on checklists
- Troubleshoot and maintain CNC machines, equipment, tools, and workshop facilities to ensure smooth operations
- Plan and manage tasks to meet project deadlines effectively
- Implement and uphold quality and safety compliance standards including 5S practices
- Perform daily housekeeping and maintain cleanliness of the workshop environment
- Work independently with self-motivation, resourcefulness, and strong organizational skills
- Perform other assigned duties as needed to support operations
Preferred competencies and qualifications
- Knowledge of Solidcam and Solidworks software to enhance programming and design capabilities
- 3 to 5 years of experience in CNC machine setup or related fields
