Key Responsibilities:
- Manage and support Windows Server environments (2016/2019/2022)
- Manage, configure, and monitor Azure IaaS/PaaS services including:
Virtual Machines (VMs)
Azure Active Directory / Entra ID
Azure Backup & Site Recovery
Azure Monitor & Log Analytics
ARM Templates / Bicep / Terraform (is a plus) - Perform cloud migrations of Windows workloads to Azure
- Configure and support hybrid identity solutions (Azure AD Connect, ADFS)
- Automate tasks and infrastructure provisioning using PowerShell or Azure CLI
- Monitor infrastructure performance and security, leveraging Azure Security Center, Azure Sentinel, etc.
- Maintain documentation, perform capacity planning, and contribute to cloud governance policies
- CIS Hardening, monitor backup jobs, and set up alerts
- Optimise Azure resources based on monthly metrics data statistics
- End-to-end responsibility with minimal or zero supervision
- Knowledge and working experience in Trend Micro (EPP)
- Regular firewall review (NSG)
Required Qualifications:
- 10+ years of experience in IT infrastructure with a focus on Windows Server administration
- 4+ years of hands-on experience with Microsoft Azure
- Proven experience in deploying and managing Azure-based Windows workloads
- Strong understanding of Active Directory, Group Policies, DNS, DHCP
- Skilled in PowerShell scripting and Azure automation
- Experience with Azure networking concepts - VNets, NSGs, VPNs, ExpressRoute
- Solid understanding of security best practices in a cloud environment
- Excellent troubleshooting and communication skills
Preferred Qualifications:
- Microsoft Certified: Azure Administrator Associate (AZ-104) or higher
- Knowledge of ITIL frameworks and ticketing systems like ServiceNow, JSM
- Experience with Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using ARM / Bicep / Terraform (is a plus)
- Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices (is a plus)
- Experience in working within Public Sector (is a plus)
