CLOUD & INFRASTRUCTURE ENGINEER

Job description

We are looking for a Cloud & Infrastructure Engineer to build, deploy and secure the technology infrastructure behind our Industrial IoT, Analytics and AI solutions.

This is a hands-on engineering role covering cloud infrastructure, DevOps, cybersecurity, networking and Microsoft 365. You will work closely with software development and project teams to turn applications into secure, reliable and production-ready systems.

Roles & Responsibilities

• Design, deploy and maintain Azure and AWS cloud infrastructure for IoT, analytics and AI applications.
• Build and manage cloud-native and containerised environments using Docker/Kubernetes.
• Develop CI/CD pipelines and Infrastructure-as-Code (IaC) to automate deployments.
• Design and manage cloud networking, VPNs, firewalls and secure connectivity.
• Implement cybersecurity, identity/access management, system hardening and vulnerability management.
• Set up monitoring,logging and performance management for cloud infrastructure and applications.
• Administer Microsoft365, Entra ID and Intune to support a secure and productive workplace.
• Maintain Windows/Linux infrastructure and provide technical support for internal IT systems when required.
• Support backup, disaster recovery and infrastructure security initiatives.
• Troubleshoot and resolve complex cloud, infrastructure, networking and deployment issues.

Requirements

• Diploma/Degree in Computer Science, IT, Computer Engineering or equivalent.
• 3-5 years experience in cloud, infrastructure or systems engineering.
• Hands-on experience with Azure and/or AWS.
• Experience with Linux/Windows, networking and cloud infrastructure.
• Knowledge of Docker, Kubernetes, CI/CD and Infrastructure-as-Code.
• Good understanding of cybersecurity, IAM, network security and system hardening.
• Experience with Microsoft 365, Entra ID and Intune is preferred.
• Scripting experience with PowerShell, Python, Bash or equivalent.
• Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work across development and infrastructure environments.
