We are looking for an experienced Cloud Operations & Security Lead to join our team. This role requires strong expertise in managing and securing Azure and AWS cloud-native services within Government Commercial Cloud (GCC/GCC+) environments. The ideal candidate will take ownership of cloud operations, drive secure migration initiatives, and embed cloud security practices across the organization.
Key Responsibilities
Cloud Operations:
- Manage and support Azure and/or AWS cloud-native services, ensuring performance, scalability, and availability.
- Configure and manage networking, storage, and routing resources in AWS (VPCs, S3, route tables, security groups) and/or Azure (VNETs, BLOB storage, NSGs).
- Oversee cloud migration activities, including system and application migration from Government Data Centres (GDC) to GCC/GCC+ using Azure and AWS migration tools.
- Support and enhance CI/CD pipelines and automation frameworks across platforms.
- Act as cloud operations lead in the absence of the Operations Manager.
Cloud Security (SecOps):
- Operate and monitor security tools such as SIEM, VAPT, log analysis, and Web Application Firewalls (WAF).
- Ensure cloud security compliance within GCC/GCC+ environments on AWS and Azure.
- Embed security-by-design principles across infrastructure, applications, and cloud operations.
- Take responsibility for SecOps activities during development, implementation, and operations, supporting secure DevOps and CI/CD pipelines.
- Collaborate closely with infrastructure, network, cloud, and application teams to ensure robust security integration.
Required Skills & Experience
- Minimum 2 years of experience managing Azure and/or AWS cloud-native services.
- Hands-on experience with public clouds in GCC and/or GCC+ environments.
- Strong knowledge of cloud networking, storage, and resource management on AWS and Azure.
- Proficient with DevOps/CI-CD tools and automation pipelines.
- Practical experience with system/application migration from GDC to GCC/GCC+.
- Proficient with security tools (SIEM, VAPT, WAF, log analysis).
- Understanding of SecOps principles and cloud-native security practices.
Certifications (Highly Preferred):
- AWS Certified Solutions Architect Associate/Professional
- Microsoft Certified: Azure Solutions Architect Expert
- AWS Certified Security Specialty
- Microsoft Certified: Azure Security Engineer Associate
