We are seeking a Cloud System Engineer with AWS SysOps Administrator certification (or equivalent) and network security experience to support our cloud infrastructure and security operations. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in AWS cloud management, firewall/network security administration, and troubleshooting in a distributed computing environment. This role requires a strong understanding of TCP/IP, Unix/Linux, and cloud security best practices to ensure stable, efficient, and secure cloud operations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage and maintain AWS cloud infrastructure, including EC2, VPC, IAM, and security groups, ensuring high availability and performance.
- Administer and troubleshoot firewalls and network security, including IPv4/IPv6, Ethernet, and TCP/IP protocols.
- Perform network analysis and troubleshooting to resolve connectivity and security issues.
- Monitor and secure cloud environments, including endpoint security, SFTP, IAM, and Active Directory (AD) integration.
- Automate cloud operations using scripting (Python, Bash) and Infrastructure-as-Code (IaC) tools like CloudFormation or Terraform.
- Ensure compliance with security policies and implement best practices for cloud security and network hardening.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support cloud-native applications and infrastructure.
- Document cloud architectures, security configurations, and standard operating procedures (SOPs).
- Investigate and resolve technical issues with an analytical and problem-solving mindset.
Requirements:
- AWS SysOps Administrator certification or equivalent (e.g., AWS Advanced Networking Specialty).
- 1+ years of experience in firewall and network security administration.
- Hands-on experience with IPv4/IPv6, Ethernet, TCP/IP, and Unix/Linux environments.
- Proficient in network analysis, troubleshooting, and security hardening.
- Working knowledge of Unix/Linux/Windows and TCP/IP protocols (FTP, NFS, DNS, etc.).
- Experience with cloud infrastructure engineering, including distributed computing environments.
- Ability to deliver stable, efficient, and reliable cloud infrastructure and operations.
- Strong problem-solving skills with a curious and tenacious mindset for issue investigation.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
