Responsibilities:
You will be responsible for providing administrative and client service support to Relationship Managers (RMs) within the front office function servicing Private Banking clients.
- Support RMs in regard to client account administration, client servicing and retention efforts.
- Liaise with internal departments regarding administrative matters concerning execution and settlement of trades, delivery of securities, corporate action, payment and receipt of funds, renewal and repayment of loans.
- Liaise with other financial institutions and service providers regarding account opening request and other clients administrative matters.
- Check daily transaction list to ensure trades are processed correctly
- Prepare and send trade confirmations to clients
- Monitor and arrange for settlement of trades
- Prepare payment orders
- Input orders for securities, forex and money market into system
- Prepare and followup on account opening documentation
- Maintaining and updating of spreadsheets for selected clients
- Print valuation reports and prepare client's outstanding documents, brochures and investment and research materials for RM's business trip
- To assist RMs in making sure there are no outstanding items relating to client administration matters
Qualifications
- Min 5 years experience in a Private Banking setup with good understanding of relevant financial products and services in Private Banking
- CACS Paper 1 and 2 is mandatory
- Good language skills i.e. English and Chinese / Mandarin (verbal and written) according to specific market requirements
- Excellent interpersonal, communication and client interfacing skills
- Meticulous and detail-oriented
- Proactive and collaborative
- Working knowledge of Avaloq is an advantage
