Role Overview
The Cleaning Supervisor is responsible for overseeing daily cleaning operations, ensuring cleanliness standards are met, and managing a team of cleaners
Key Responsibilities
- Supervise and coordinate cleaning staff on daily duties
- Conduct routine inspections to ensure cleanliness and hygiene standards
- Assign tasks and manage work schedules/rosters
- Train new cleaners and provide guidance on proper cleaning procedures
- Ensure proper use and maintenance of cleaning equipment and chemicals
- Handle feedback, complaints, and service recovery
- Maintain inventory of cleaning supplies and request replenishment
- Ensure compliance with workplace safety and hygiene regulations
Requirements
- Minimum 1-2 years of supervisory experience in cleaning/facilities management
- Basic knowledge of cleaning techniques, equipment, and chemicals
- Good leadership and communication skills
- Ability to manage schedules and manpower effectively
- Physically fit and able to work in a fast-paced environment
- Basic literacy (for reporting and communication)
- Willing to work shifts, weekends, or public holidays if required
