Cleaning manager

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee daily cleaning operations across multiple sites or designated locations
• Supervise, train, and manage cleaning supervisors and cleaners
• Develop and implement cleaning schedules and manpower deployment plans
• Conduct regular site inspections to ensure service quality and compliance with standards
• Handle client feedback, complaints, and service recovery in a timely manner
• Ensure proper usage and maintenance of cleaning equipment and materials
• Monitor inventory of cleaning supplies and coordinate replenishment
• Ensure compliance with workplace safety, hygiene, and regulatory requirements (e.g. WSH standards in Singapore)
• Assist in recruitment, onboarding, and performance management of cleaning staff
• Prepare operational reports and submit updates to management

Requirements

• Minimum 3-5 years of experience in cleaning operations or facilities management
• Prior experience in a supervisory or managerial role preferred
• Good understanding of cleaning procedures, chemicals, and equipment
• Familiar with Singapore workplace safety standards (WSH)
• Strong leadership and people management skills
• Able to work independently and handle multiple sites
• Good communication and interpersonal skills
• Able to work flexible hours, including weekends if required
