Civil & Structural Design Manager

Requirements:

1) A degree in Civil Engineering from a university recognised by the Professional Engineer Board, Singapore or an equivalent.

2) Minimum 6 years of design experience in Building projects and/or Earth Retaining Structures within a consulting environment.

3) Strong engineering analysis and design skills and knowledge.

4) Competent in common engineering design software and analytical tools.

5) Conversant with relevant regulations and the latest authority submission process.

7) Competent in precast concrete and steel works design.

8) Conversant with local codes and knowledge of the design codes in the region.

9) Capable of working independently, carrying out design, performing peer review on structural solutions

11) Capable of leading the C&S design in a project.

12) Good planning, organizational and communication skills.

Job Description :

1) Manage the site supervision team and provide technical advice and solutions.

2) Carry design check and calculation and ensure work quality is maintained at the expected standard in a project.

3) Participate in BIM coordination with the assistance of the BIM team.

4) Review technical specifications and design details.

5) Conduct engineering assessments and prepare technical reports if necessary.

6) Carry out adhoc site inspections and technical reviews.

7) Provide reply to RFA/RFI and design clarifications.

8) Attend meetings, reporting and design matters.

9) Liaise with fellow Engineers and/or Consultant team.
