Position Summary:
We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Site Supervisor to oversee and coordinate all on-site construction activities. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest standards of quality and safety. You will act as the key link between project management, engineering consultants, and subcontractors on the ground.
Key Responsibilities:
- Project Planning & Execution:
Develop, implement, and monitor detailed work schedules against the master program to ensure project milestones are met.
Oversee daily construction activities, providing clear direction and guidance to supervisors and subcontractors. - Technical Coordination & Problem-Solving:
Liaise with Professional Engineers and consultants to resolve technical issues, review temporary works designs, and ensure engineering specifications are followed.
Proactively identify and resolve construction-related problems, including handling technical and engineering challenges as they arise.
Prepare and review method statements, technical reports, and other project documentation. - Team Leadership & Subcontractor Management:
Lead, manage, and monitor the work of site personnel and subcontractors to maintain productivity and quality.
Conduct regular site inspections to ensure work complies with design, quality standards, and safety regulations. - Site Safety & Organization:
Enforce strict adherence to health, safety, and environmental protocols to maintain a safe, clean, and orderly site.
Monitor work practices to ensure a zero-accident environment.
Qualifications & Requirements:
- Diploma or Degree in Civil Engineering, or a recognized equivalent qualification.
- Minimum of 3 years of hands-on experience in a construction site supervisory role.
- Proven ability to read and interpret construction drawings, schedules, and specifications.
- Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to work independently and make sound decisions under pressure.
- Excellent organizational, planning, and time-management skills.
- Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to coordinate effectively with a diverse team.
- Fluency in both English and Mandarin is required to liaise effectively with Mandarin-speaking consultants, stakeholders, and team members.
