Job Responsibilities:
- Manage and oversee on-site construction activities, ensuring strict adherence to project specifications, quality standards, and safety regulations.
- Collaborate with project managers, architects, and stakeholders to interpret project plans and blueprints, providing valuable technical expertise and insights.
- Conduct regular site inspections and coordinate with subcontractors to ensure work progresses according to schedule and within budget.
- Resolve any technical issues or discrepancies that may arise during construction, offering innovative solutions to keep the project on track.
- Monitor and enforce compliance with health and safety regulations, maintaining a secure working environment for all personnel on-site.
- Prepare and submit regular progress reports, highlighting achievements, challenges, and recommended solutions.
- Collaborate with the procurement team to ensure timely delivery of materials and equipment required for construction activities.
- Assist in the preparation of project budgets and timelines, providing input on resource requirements and cost estimates.
- Stay informed about industry trends, technological advancements, and best practices in Civil Engineering.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree or Diploma in Civil Engineering or a related field.
- Proven experience as a Site Engineer in a construction or infrastructure development setting.
- Proficient in reading and interpreting construction plans, drawings, and specifications.
- Strong knowledge of civil engineering principles, materials, and construction methods.
- Excellent project management and organizational skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a collaborative team environment.
- Exceptional problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Proficient in relevant software applications.
