Job Summary
Assist the Project Manager by managing on-site technical andengineering tasks, coordinating with stakeholders, ensuring compliance withsafety and environmental standards, and supporting construction teams todeliver successful project outcomes.
Responsibilities
- Assist the Project Manager in managing on-site technical and engineering matters and preparing authority submissions
- Prepare Method of Statement, Sequence of Works, and other technical documents to support project execution
- Coordinate effectively with clients, subcontractors, suppliers, and consultants to ensure smooth project progress
- Conduct site inspections and meetings to document progress and report issues or deviations to the project management team
- Monitor and enforce compliance with safety regulations and project requirements on-site
- Provide technical guidance and support to construction teams to resolve engineering challenges
- Ensure environmental, safety, and health practices are consistently implemented throughout the project
- Perform other ad hoc duties as assigned to support project needs
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in civil engineering, civil engineering technology, or a related field recognized by the PE Board
- Minimum 4 years of experience as a construction engineer in the relevant specialization
- Proficiency in NCE applications and Microsoft Office to manage project documentation and communication
- Familiarity with LTA/PUB projects and relevant regulations and safety protocols to ensure compliance
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously with strong analytical, supervisory, and communication skills
- Possession of a valid Class 3 driving license
