Job Responsibilities:
- Deliver high-quality Mandarin Chinese lessons in accordance with the school's curriculum, teaching materials, and syllabus.
- Maintain consistently high standards of Mandarin language teaching across all classes.
- Conduct private and group lessons across multiple locations, including our Centres, and online via Zoom.
- Provide professional learning guidance and feedback to both adult and young learners, supporting their individual learning goals.
- Participate in in-house training and apply the school's teaching methodology to classroom practice.
- Monitor students learning progress and adjust teaching strategies to enhance learning outcomes.
- Create a positive, engaging, and supportive learning environment for students of different age groups and proficiency levels.
Job Requirements:
- Minimum 1-2 years of relevant experience in teaching the Chinese language to non-Chinese speakers.
- Relevant academic background or teaching Chinese as an International Language is preferred.
- Proficiency in Chinese is required. Proficiency in other languages is an added advantage.
- Must have patience, passion and responsibilities.
- Excellent communication and classroom management skills.
- Able to commit at least 6 months to 1 year.
Salary: The hourly pay range for this position is $30-$50, depending on experience.
Classes conducted on weekday afternoon/evenings and weekends
