About the Role
We are seeking an experienced and visionary Chief Strategic Officer to lead and execute our long-term strategic roadmap in the dynamic cloud services industry. You will drive growth through market expansion, competitive positioning, and strategic partnerships while aligning business goals with cutting-edge cloud technologies and emerging trends.
Key Responsibilities
1) Strategic Leadership & Vision
- Define and execute the company's corporate strategy with a strong focus on growth in cloud infrastructure, platform, and SaaS offerings.
- Lead cross-functional strategic initiatives that position the company as a market leader in the cloud space.
- Monitor global cloud trends, competitor strategies, and market shifts to adapt business priorities accordingly.
2) Business Growth & Market Expansion
- Identify and evaluate new markets, verticals, and customer segments for expansion.
- Drive mergers & acquisitions, joint ventures, and investments aligned with strategic goals.
- Lead development of go-to-market strategies and pricing models with Product and Sales teams.
3) Technology & Innovation Alignment
- Partner with CTO and Product leadership to align strategic vision with technological innovation.
- Identify opportunities in AI, edge computing, multi-cloud, security, and sustainability to differentiate offerings.
4) Stakeholder Management
- Advise the Board and C-suite on strategic risks, opportunities, and investments.
- Build high-level relationships with strategic customers, regulators, and partners (e.g. AWS, Microsoft, Google Cloud).
- Represent the company at industry events, panels, and media engagements.
5) Performance & Risk Management
- Establish KPIs to measure success of strategic initiatives and partnerships.
- Anticipate and mitigate strategic risks, including geopolitical, regulatory, and technological shifts.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Computer Science, or related field.
- 10-15+ years in strategic leadership roles, ideally in cloud computing, enterprise IT, or high-tech sectors.
- Proven track record in scaling cloud services, launching new markets, and managing C-level stakeholders.
- Deep understanding of IaaS, PaaS, SaaS, and cloud ecosystem partners.
- Strong business acumen and data-driven decision-making.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and influencing skills.
- Ability to lead with vision in fast-paced, highly technical environments.
