Chief Operating Officer (COO)

Reporting to:

Group CEO and Group Chairman

Role Purpose:

ZACD Group Ltd is a Singapore-incorporated company listed on the Hong Kong Stock Exchange, operating an integrated real estate investment and development platform covering fund management, property development, asset management and structured investment vehicles.

We are seeking a seasoned and results-driven Chief Operating Officer (COO) to lead and scale our integrated operations. Reporting directly to the Group CEO and Group Chairman, the COO will be responsible for driving operational excellence, ensuring the flawless execution of our significant real estate project pipeline, and optimizing business processes across all segments.

This executive will play a vital role in managing the company's day-to-day performance, driving financial efficiency, mitigating operational risk, and executing our strategic vision for regional growth. The ideal candidate is an execution-focused leader with deep domain expertise in real estate asset management and development.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Strategic Execution & Operational Leadership

  • Partner with the Group CEO and Group Chairman to develop and execute the group's long-term strategic plan.
  • Translate high-level strategy into actionable, operational roadmaps and clear performance goals for all departments.
  • Lead, mentor, and build a high-performance culture across the operations, projects, and asset management teams.
  • Establish, monitor, and report on key performance indicators (KPIs) for operational, project, and financial health.

2. Project & Portfolio Management

  • Assume ultimate responsibility for the end-to-end management of the Group's real estate portfolio.
  • Ensure all development projects (e.g., residential, commercial, mixed-use) are delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standard.
  • Oversee the Acquisitions & Projects and Relationship Management teams, standardizing processes for project sourcing, due diligence, land tender, design, and marketing.

3. Financial Performance & Efficiency

  • Drive group-wide operational efficiency, process improvement, and cost-control initiatives to enhance profitability.
  • Work closely with the CFO/FC to manage the P&L of the operational divisions, develop budgets, and forecast resource needs.
  • Analyze and optimize the operational structure to support the company's new project launches and strategic divestments.

4. Business Segment Oversight

  • Property & Facilities Management: Oversee the property management division, ensuring service excellence, client retention, and profitability.
  • Financial Advisory: Support the integration of advisory services with the group's wider asset management platform.
  • Investment & Asset Management: Ensure the operational backbone (including compliance, reporting, and investor relations) fully supports our MAS-licensed fund management activities and Special Purpose Vehicles (SPVs).

5. Risk Management & Compliance

  • Implement and maintain a robust operational risk management framework.
  • Ensure all group operations comply with relevant regulations in all jurisdictions, including Singapore (MAS), Hong Kong (HKEX), and Australia.

Qualifications & Experience

  • Experience: Minimum 12 years of executive leadership experience, with at least 5 years in a COO, Managing Director, or equivalent role.
  • Industry: Deep domain expertise in the Asia PacificReal Estate market is mandatory. Candidates from property development backgrounds will be given priority. Those from asset management or find management background can be considered as well.
  • Education: Bachelor's or Master's degree in Real Estate, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • Track Record: Proven success in managing the full lifecycle of complex, large-scale real estate projects.
  • Financial Acumen: Strong financial and commercial acumen; experience managing a P&L, implementing budgets, and driving financial performance.
  • Regulatory: Demonstrable experience with MAS regulations and Capital Market Services (CMS) licensing is a significant advantage.
  • Public Company: Experience in a publicly listed company (HKEX or SGX), with an understanding of its reporting and governance requirements, is highly preferred.
  • Fluency in English is mandatory.
  • Proficiency in Mandarin and/or Bahasa Indonesian is highly advantageous, but not mandatory.
