The Opportunity
We are seeking an experienced Chief Financial Officer (CFO) to lead our financial strategy during a pivotal phase of corporate development. The successful candidate will play a critical role in guiding the company through potential future liquidity events, including a possible U.S. public listing or strategic sale. This position offers significant influence in shaping our global financial architecture and long-term strategic direction.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and execute financial strategies aligned with corporate goals, including capital raising, investor relations, and risk management.
- Lead all aspects of financial planning, accounting, treasury, tax, and regulatory compliance across multiple international jurisdictions.
- Oversee preparation for potential future transactions such as IPOs, mergers, acquisitions, or divestitures, ensuring robust readiness in financial systems, controls, and reporting.
- Serve as a key advisor to the CEO and board on financial performance, growth initiatives, and market opportunities.
- Build and lead a high-performing global finance team, fostering a culture of integrity, transparency, and operational excellence.
- Engage with institutional investors, investment banks, auditors, and regulatory bodies to uphold strong governance and stakeholder confidence.
Qualifications
- 15+ years of progressive financial leadership experience, including senior roles in multinational technology or energy-related companies.
- Proven track record in leading successful IPOs (preferably in the U.S.) and/or complex M&A transactions within a global context.
- Deep understanding of U.S. GAAP, SEC regulations, SOX compliance, and international financial standards.
- Experience navigating financial operations across Asia, Europe, and the Americas; familiarity with Chinese corporate structures is advantageous.
- Strong strategic acumen, executive presence, and exceptional communication skills to effectively interact with global stakeholders.
- Advanced degree in Finance, Accounting, or Business; CPA, CFA, or equivalent certification preferred.
