The Chief Distribution Officer isresponsible for developing and leading the overall distribution strategy for the organization. The incumbent will oversee all channels of insurance product distribution (Agency, Broker, Bancassurance, Digital and Direct).
Key Responsibilities:
Strategic Leadership
- Design and execute a comprehensive, multi-channel distribution strategy aligned with the company's growth objectives and brand vision.
- Drive innovation across traditional and digital distribution platforms to expand market reach and customer engagement.
Channel Management
- Oversee performance of all distribution channels.
- Develop and manage relationships with key distribution partners and intermediaries.
Sales Leadership
- Set and monitor sales targets, forecasts, and performance KPIs by channel, region, and product line.
- Work closely with product, marketing, and underwriting teams to develop go-to-market strategies and support cross-functional alignment.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree
- Leadership experience in sales and distribution within the general insurance industry
- Proven track record in driving growth through innovative channel strategies
- Strong leadership and people management skills
- Strong commercial acumen, negotiation, and strategic partnership capabilities
- Familiarity with relevant insurance regulatory frameworks and compliance requirements
