We are hiring a Chemist with strong analytical chemistry capability to run QA/QC testing, maintain ISO/IEC 17025-aligned practices, lead documentation and training, and support new product SOP / production readiness. You will supervise technicians and provide weekly reporting to management. Training will be provided for equipment and AI tools.
Key Responsibilities
- QA/QC & Analytical Testing (ISO/IEC 17025 aligned): Execute tests per approved methods/specs ensure data integrity, traceability, controlled records, calculations, result review, and basic OOS/OOT support.
- Equipment Operation (hands-on): Operate, maintain readiness, and perform basic troubleshooting with proper logs/status control for:
- Auto Titrator
- Karl Fischer Titrator
- FTIR
- UV/Vis Spectrophotometer
- Water analysis meters:pH / conductivity / ORP / DO (where applicable)
- Water analyzers:COD / turbidity / TOC (where applicable)
- Documentation & SOP Control: Draft/revise/improve SOPs, work instructions, forms, and checklists implement document control and right-first-time records.
- Training & Competency: Train technicians (OJT + assessment), maintain training records, and close skill gaps.
- Technician Supervision: Guide lab techs on technique, safety, housekeeping, GDP/data integrity allocate daily workload and ensure consistent execution.
- New Product Support: Create new SOP / production SOP for new products (raw material checks, blending/production steps, in-process controls, final QC release, labeling/packaging, storage conditions).
- CAPA / Complaints / RCA (advantage): Support or lead CAPA, fishbone/5-Why, complaint investigations, effectiveness checks, and closure.
- Method Support (advantage): Support method verification/validation and documentation (accuracy, precision, linearity/range, robustness, etc. as applicable).
- AI Productivity: Use AI tools to speed up drafting, reporting, checklists, and admin tasks with confidentiality controls and human review.
- Weekly Reporting: Provide weekly report on QC output, production support, instrument status, issues/risks, CAPA/complaint status and actions.
Requirements
- Diploma/Degree in Chemistry / Analytical Chemistry (or related science).
- Strong analytical chemistry fundamentals and hands-on QA/QC experience.
- Proven ability to operate and care for the instruments listed above strong calibration/verification discipline.
- Strong SOP writing, documentation control, and training capability.
- Able to supervise technicians and maintain competency records.
Nice to Have (Add-on)
- Experience in ISO/IEC 17025, CAPA, fishbone analysis, complaint handling, OOS/OOT investigations.
- Experience supporting method verification/validation.
- Experience in chemical blending/production environment and batch record flow.
