Duties & Responsibilities:
- Develop resin formulations for CCL (copper clad laminate) applications
- Researching new methods and raw materials to develop new products and improve existing products in both quality and cost
- Lead R&D projects through various stage of development to the commercialization
- Collaborate with R&D counterpart in US and Japan on R&D projects
- Sourcing alternative raw materials for existing products. Carry out evaluation and qualification
- Calculating and analysing test results and preparing detailed reports with recommendations and conclusions
- Estimate the cost, resources and time required to conduct one or more research projects and monitor the performance of these projects to ensure targets are met
- Provide technical support to production, QA, technical service and other departments when required (such as troubleshooting and failure analysis, etc.)
- Support new product and process transfer from other BUs
- Perform any other reasonable duties as required by Management from time to time
Requirements:
- At least a Bachelor's Degree in Polymer, Chemistry or related
- 3 to 5 years experience in formulation is preferred
- Good communication and interpersonal skills
- Mature, tactful, resourceful, positive attitude and self-motivated
