Job Summary

You will prepare specific food items and meal components at your station while following the head chef's directions. You will collaborate with the culinary team to deliver high-quality food and service, maintain a safe and sanitary kitchen area, manage supplies, and improve preparation methods based on feedback.

  • Collaborate with the culinary team to deliver high-quality food and excellent service
  • Maintain a safe and sanitary work area in the kitchen to comply with hygiene standards
  • Conduct stocktaking and order supplies for your station to ensure availability of ingredients
  • Improve food preparation methods based on feedback to enhance efficiency and quality
  • Assist in other kitchen areas as needed to support team operations
  • Manage multiple tasks and organize work effectively during shifts, including weekends and holidays
  • Communicate clearly and listen attentively to team members to ensure smooth kitchen operations
  • Apply knowledge of safety and sanitation best practices to maintain a healthy work environment
  • Demonstrate passion for delivering great food and service through consistent performance
  • Work well within a team to contribute to a positive and productive kitchen atmosphere

Preferred competencies and qualifications

  • Qualification from a culinary school
  • Past experience working in a similar role
