- Collaborate with the culinary team to maintain high-quality food and service standards
- Maintain a safe and sanitary work area in the kitchen
- Conduct stocktaking and order supplies for your station to ensure availability
- Improve food preparation methods based on feedback to enhance quality and efficiency
- Assist in other kitchen areas as needed to support team operations
- Manage multitasking and organize tasks effectively during shifts, including weekends and holidays
- Communicate clearly and listen attentively to team members and supervisors to ensure smooth kitchen operations
- Apply knowledge of safety and sanitation best practices consistently during food preparation and kitchen maintenance
- Work cooperatively within a team environment to achieve shared goals
Preferred competencies and qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Qualification from a culinary school
- Past experience working in a similar culinary role
- Passion for delivering great food and service
