Role Summary
We are seeking a meticulous, hands-on Chef De Partie to produce consistent, high-quality baked goods while upholding food safety, hygiene and our brand standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Execute daily production of cakes, cookies, and pastries according to recipes, SOPs and quality standards
- Cooking of pastry components such as ganache, buttercream, etc
- Assembling of mini bites including brownies, cupcakes, and tarts
- Frosting and decorating of standard and customised cakes
- Prepare fondant decorations including fondant decorations, sculptures and fondant cakes
- Ensuring cleanliness of kitchen and equipment
- Inventory management and organisation of storage
- Oversee and conduct employee training for new employees
Requirements
- At least 1-2 years professional baking or pastry production experience with management experience.
- Strong discipline in food safety and documentation (HACCP/GMP/ISO).
- Valid Food Hygiene Certificate is an advantage, otherwise training will be arranged
- Team player with good communication and a continuous-improvement mindset.
Nice-to-Have
- WSQ certifications in Baking/Pastry or equivalent.
- Valid Food Hygiene Certificate
Schedule & Remuneration
- 5.5-day rostered work week, 8am-4/5pm.
- Competitive salary commensurate with experience, performance incentives, overtime per MOM guidelines.
