We are looking for a passionate Catering Sales Manager to drive our commitment to top-quality food and memorable experiences across Singapore. This role will focus on growing our presence in the halal catering and community events segment, including corporate, weddings, and social functions.
Responsibilities
- Assist in the development and implementation of business plans, sales strategies, and marketing initiatives
- Identify and develop new business opportunities, particularly within halal-certified catering and community-based events
- Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, including corporate organisations, event planners, and community partners
- Initiate and coordinate action plans to penetrate new market segments and grow existing accounts
- Actively source leads through networking, partnerships, and industry channels (e.g. events, referrals, community outreach)
- Provide excellent customer service and ensure high client satisfaction and retention
- Prepare proposals, quotations, and pricing with a focus on competitiveness and profitability
- Maintain accurate records of sales activities, pipelines, and performance reports
- Provide regular updates and market feedback to management on trends, competitors, and opportunities
- Support and participate in marketing campaigns, events, and promotional activities
Sales incentive scheme will be provided upon achievement of agreed targets.
Skills & Qualifications
- Diploma / Degree in any discipline
- At least 2 years of sales experience in F&B catering, events, or related industries preferred
- Experience handling halal catering requirements, Muslim weddings, or community events will be an advantage
- Strong network or familiarity with community-based events, wedding planners, or corporate clients is a plus
- Ability to communicate with a diverse range of clients, including Malay-speaking clients, is an advantage
- Excellent interpersonal, communication, and relationship-building skills
- Able to work in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines
