Sales & Client Acquisition
- Leverage your existing book of business to bring in immediate catering sales.
- Prospect, pitch, and close new catering accounts (corporate, social, agency, venue partners, etc.).
- Develop tailored proposals and presentations for clients based on event needs and budget.
- Negotiate contracts and finalize agreements that are mutually beneficial.
Relationship Management
- Build and nurture long-term client relationships to encourage repeat business and referrals.
- Act as the main point of contact for assigned clients - from inquiry to post-event follow-up.
- Ensure a smooth handover to operations and culinary teams for flawless execution.
Strategy & Reporting
- Collaborate with leadership on sales strategies, pricing, and target market segments.
- Track pipeline activity and provide regular updates on leads, conversions, and revenue.
- Identify partnership and upsell opportunities (e.g. venues, decor companies, recurring accounts).
Qualifications:
- Minimum 2-3 years of experience in catering sales.
- Must have an active network or portfolio of potential clients.
- Proven ability to meet or exceed revenue targets.
- Exceptional communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
- Self-motivated and able to work independently in a fast-paced environment.
- Familiarity with CRM tools and proposal generation.
