CARPENTER

Job Responsibilities

• Read blueprints, drawings, and sketches to fully understand project requirements
• Take accurate measurements and calculate the size and quantity of materials needed
• Cut, shape, and smooth materials such as wood and fiberglass according to specifications
• Construct window frames, doors, staircases, and building frameworks using raw or pre-fabricated materials
• Install flooring, roofing, and drywall, ensuring proper alignment and leveling
• Build and install furniture, cabinets, shelves, and other wooden structures
• Inspect completed work and perform repairs or maintenance when required
• Erect scaffolding and other temporary construction structures

Requirements & Skills

• Proven experience as a carpenter
• Hands-on experience working with carpentry materials
• Strong knowledge of carpentry techniques, installation, and construction methods
• Proficiency in using electrical and manual tools (e.g., power saws, hammers, measuring tools)
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and documents
• Strong commitment to workplace safety practices
• Good physical fitness and stamina

Work Conditions

• Must be willing to work night shifts, Sundays, and public holidays
• Must be flexible to work irregular or odd hours depending on project and client requirements
