CARPENTER

. Perform carpentry tasks related to commercial and residential projects

. Assemble and install frameworks, roofing, partitions, staircases, and cabinetry

. Interpret and analyze blueprints, sketches, or building plans

. Measure, cut, and assemble wood, plywood, and other materials

. Construct, install, and repair structures and fixtures such as doors, windows, walls, floors, frameworks, and furniture & Use hand tools and power tools such as saws, hammers, drills, and chisels

. Shape or cut materials to specified measurements using measuring tools

. Ensure structures meet building codes and safety standards

. Maintain tools and equipment in good working condition

. Work with other trades to complete construction projects

. Ensure quality workmanship and adherence to deadlines
