We're Hiring: Café Manager (Barista Experience Required)
We're looking for a hands-on Café Manager who knows their way around both people and coffee. This role is ideal for someone who thrives on the floor, leads by example, and takes pride in delivering consistently great coffee and customer experiences.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee daily café operations (opening/closing, staffing, workflow)
- Lead, train, and motivate the team to maintain high service standards
- Prepare and serve quality coffee during peak hours
- Maintain coffee consistency (dial-in, grind adjustment, milk texturing)
- Manage inventory, stock ordering, and supplier relationships
- Handle customer feedback and ensure a positive café environment
- Monitor sales performance and control costs
- Ensure hygiene, safety, and compliance standards are met
Requirements
- Proven experience as a café supervisor or manager
- Strong barista skills (espresso calibration, latte art, workflow efficiency)
- Leadership and team management experience
- Good understanding of café operations and cost control
- Friendly, proactive, and service-oriented attitude
- Able to work weekends and public holidays
