Job Overview

We are seeking a results-driven Café Area Manager to oversee the operations of multiple café outlets. You will be responsible for ensuring consistent service standards, driving sales performance, managing outlet teams, and maintaining operational excellence across all locations.

Key Responsibilities

1. Multi-Outlet Operations

  • Oversee daily operations across assigned café outlets
  • Ensure all outlets comply with SOPs, brand standards, and service quality
  • Conduct regular outlet visits and performance reviews

2. Team Leadership & Development

  • Manage and support outlet managers and team leaders
  • Lead hiring, training, and performance management
  • Build a strong service culture and team accountability

3. Sales & Financial Performance

  • Drive revenue growth and achieve sales targets across outlets
  • Monitor P&L, control costs (labour, food cost, wastage)
  • Analyse sales reports and implement improvement strategies

4. Customer Experience

  • Ensure high levels of customer satisfaction across all outlets
  • Handle escalated customer feedback and resolve issues effectively

5. Inventory & Supply Chain

  • Oversee inventory management and stock control
  • Coordinate with suppliers to ensure timely and cost-efficient procurement

6. Operational Excellence

  • Maintain consistency in food and beverage quality
  • Improve workflows, efficiency, and service speed
  • Ensure compliance with hygiene, safety, and regulatory standards

Requirements

  • Minimum 3-5 years of experience in F&B, with multi-outlet management preferred
  • Strong leadership and people management skills
  • Good understanding of café operations, including coffee and kitchen workflow
  • Experience in cost control, inventory management, and P&L analysis
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple locations
  • Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience managing specialty café concepts or high-volume outlets
  • Knowledge of food safety and licensing requirements
  • Background in operations improvement or business expansion

Reporting Line
