C & S Engineer

Responsibilities

1. Collaborate with engineering consultants to refine structural designs for various projects.
2. Prepare comprehensive technical submissions and project quality plans, ensuring adherence to project deadlines and budgets.
3. Conduct engineering designs in alignment with relevant international design standards.
4. Assist in preparing necessary applications for design approval with regulatory authorities.
5. Provide technical guidance and support to team members to promote a cooperative work environment.
6. Represent the engineering team in meetings with clients and multidisciplinary consultants.
7. Participate in site meetings and address technical inquiries from construction teams.
8. Review and validate structural drawings for accuracy and compliance with design standards.
9. Design cost-effective temporary works that meet the specified project requirements.
10. Oversee the installation of structural components to ensure compliance with design specifications.

Requirements

1. Bachelor's Degree in Civil or Structural Engineering.
2. Minimum of 5 years of experience in civil and structural engineering within the construction industry.
3. Experience with industrial facilities or large-scale commercial projects.
4. In-depth knowledge of structural design principles and engineering calculations.
5. Familiarity with relevant design codes and local building regulations.
6. Proven ability to review and coordinate structural drawings and technical submissions.
7. Strong coordination skills when working with consultants, contractors, and clients.
8. Background in consultancy or main contracting is preferred.
