Job Description

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage end-to-end procurement and sourcing activities to support operational requirements while ensuring compliance with company policies and procedures.
  • Source, evaluate, negotiate, and procure materials, spare parts, consumables, and services to achieve cost-effectiveness without compromising quality and delivery standards.
  • Review supplier quotations, conduct price comparisons, and recommend optimal purchasing decisions based on commercial and operational considerations.
  • Liaise closely with suppliers, logistics providers, and internal stakeholders to ensure timely material availability and resolve supply-related issues efficiently.
  • Maintain accurate records of vendors, materials, pricing, and procurement transactions to support planning, reporting, and cost control activities.
  • Identify opportunities for cost savings, supplier consolidation, and vendor development while reducing risks associated with supply chain disruptions.
  • Monitor supplier performance in terms of quality, delivery, responsiveness, and reliability, driving continuous improvement initiatives where required.
  • Participate in inventory reviews, material planning discussions, and cross-functional improvement projects to enhance procurement effectiveness and operational efficiency.
  • Prepare regular procurement reports, spend analysis, and management updates while supporting ad-hoc assignments as required.
  • Ensure adherence to company policies, procurement best practices, and workplace safety requirements.

Requirements

  • Diploma or Degree in Supply Chain, Procurement, Business, Engineering, or a related discipline.
  • Proven experience in sourcing, purchasing, or procurement within a manufacturing, engineering, aerospace, or industrial environment.
  • Strong negotiation, vendor management, and stakeholder engagement skills.
  • Able to work independently, manage multiple priorities, and thrive in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to make data-driven decisions.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively collaborate with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Highly organized, detail-oriented, and committed to delivering results.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel, and familiar with ERP/MRP systems.
  • Self-motivated, proactive, and committed to continuous improvement
