Job Description
Responsible for managing inventory, including receiving, organizing, and tracking stock, while also handling purchasing duties to ensure timely procurement of necessary materials and supplies. Key responsibilities include maintaining accurate records, overseeing stock levels, managing supplier relationships, and ensuring cost-effective sourcing. This hybrid role requires strong organizational, communication, negotiation, and analytical skills, along with proficiency in inventory management.
- Inventory Management:
- Receiving, checking, and unpacking new shipments.
- Arranging, organizing, and storing goods in designated locations.
- Materials are issued to requestor via proper documentation.
- Maintaining accurate inventory records and conducting stock counts.
- Monitoring Asset are tracked and monitored.
- Purchasing & Procurement:
- Identifying and sourcing required materials and supplies.
- Liaising with vendors and suppliers to negotiate Price & Terms.
- Ensuring timely and cost-effective procurement of goods.
- Issue Purchase order upon technical acceptance & Price Negotiations.
- Preparing reports on purchases and conducting cost analyses.
- Supplier Management:
- Establishing and maintaining strong relationships with vendors.
- Developing and maintaining a database of suppliers.
- Record Keeping:
- Recording all inventory transactions.
- Maintaining accurate records of purchases and delivery information.
