Tookitaki is seeking a Business Solutions Expert to join its Services team to support client delivery and implementation projects across global markets. The Business Solutions Expert will work closely with clients, project managers, and technical teams - (Data Science, Data Engineers, Integrations Engineers, Product, Research and Engineering) to gather business requirements, translate them into functional specifications, and ensure seamless deployment of Tookitakiʼs AML and fraud prevention platforms.
This role is ideal for someone with strong analytical thinking, understanding of compliance workflows, and a passion for translating complex regulatory requirements into actionable, tech-enabled solutions. Position Purpose The Business Solutions Expert acts as a key liaison between Tookitakiʼs clients and internal delivery teams. The role involves understanding financial crime compliance requirements, capturing business and functional needs, preparing documentation, and ensuring that product implementations meet client expectations. This position is crucial for the customization and configuration of Tookitakiʼs FinCense platform and contributes directly to client satisfaction, adoption, and operational success.
Key Responsibilities
1. Requirements Gathering & Analysis
○ Conduct discovery sessions with client stakeholders to capture business, functional, and compliance requirements.
○ Translate business problems into structured requirements documents, process flows, and configuration checklists.
○ Identify gaps, dependencies, and opportunities for configuration within Tookitakiʼs solution stack basis the client requirements for meeting their objectives
2. Functional Specification & Solution Mapping
○ Prepare Business Requirement Documents
-BRDs and Functional Requirement Documents
-FRDs aligned with project objectives, and provide clear understanding to the services team for project implementation
○ Work with product, research and engineering teams to ensure requirements are feasible, well-scoped, and clearly understood.
○ Support scenario-based configurations across modules like Smart Screening, FRAML, Scoring and Case Manager.
3. Client Communication & Stakeholder Coordination
○ Act as the primary point of contact for business-side client discussions during implementation.
○ Facilitate UAT planning and issue triage in collaboration with project managers.
○ Maintain transparent communication with internal teams and client stakeholders on progress and issues.
4. Documentation & Training Support
○ Maintain up-to-date documentation on client configurations, workflows, and data mappings.
○ Prepare training materials and SOPs for client handover.
○ Conduct product training for onboarding client to the Tookitaki solution during the project implementation
○ Support post-deployment optimization based on client feedback and usage data.
5. Compliance Understanding & Impact Assessment
○ Understand AML workflows, regulatory requirements, and industry best practices.
○ Provide input on solution configuration and policy design to ensure regulatory alignment.
Qualifications and Skills Education
. Bachelorʼs or Masterʼs degree in Business, Finance, Computer Science, or related field.
. AML/Compliance certifications (e.g., CAMS are a plus. Experience
. 5 years of experience as a Business Solutions Expert, preferably in B2B SaaS, fintech, RegTech, or compliance delivery.
. Prior experience working with compliance systems AML/Sanctions Screening) or enterprise software implementations is preferred in APAC markets
. Background in data analytics is a plus
. Experience operating in a (messy) scale-up environment with low maturity functions, weak data and many moving parts.
Technical Skills
. Familiarity with SQL, Excel, and working knowledge of data mapping or transformation logic.
. Understanding of APIs, data ingestion workflows, and cloud deployment environments: VPC, CaaS.
