Job Description

Business Development Specialist (Education)

We are seeking a Business Development Specialist to manage and grow our existing partnerships and brand presence in the Singapore market. Your main focus will be on nurturing and deepening relationships with our current partners – international schools, local schools, preschools, community centers and other places – to maximise the value of these partnerships and identify further opportunities within them.

Job scope

  • Manage and strengthen relationships with existing business partners, acting as the main point of contact to ensure their needs are met and the partnership continues to grow.
  • Proactively identify and explore further opportunities within existing partner accounts, such as additional programmes, cross-referrals and expanded promotion, rather than pursuing new cold partnerships.
  • Track and follow up on leads generated by partners in a timely manner, coordinating with internal teams (marketing, operations) to ensure leads are converted and partners are kept updated on progress;
  • Actively manage existing partners ongoing needs, queries, renewals and objectives, resolving issues promptly to maintain strong working relationships
  • Responsible for the implementation and operation of joint promotion activities with existing partners. Collect and provide feedback regarding product suggestions, market response and partner/user needs.
  • Maintain an accurate and up-to-date database (Microsoft Dynamics, CRM, Excel, etc.) of existing partners, tracking leads generated, follow-up status, and partnership performance

Job requirements

  • Bachelor's degree or above, with over 1 year of working experience in account management, business cooperation, or customer relationship management; Bilingual in Chinese and English preferred;
  • Prefer someone with strong relationship management skills and the ability to build trust with existing partners such as international schools, local schools, preschools, and community organisations
  • Knowledge of overseas Chinese communities is a plus; with experience in education and training / Chinese media/e-commerce platform being desirable.
  • Strong analytical ability to identify growth opportunities within existing accounts, excellent communication ability, critical thinking, and summarisation abilities
  • Highly self-motivated with strong organisational and follow-up skills, able to manage multiple partner accounts and leads simultaneously while meeting deadlines
  • Prior experience with overseas Chinese community resources is advantageous
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office and CRM tools, with experience tracking leads and reporting on partnership/account performance

Remuneration

  • Basic salary - up to SGD4,500
  • Incentive - up to SGD1,500
  • Phone reimbursement - SGD50 per month
  • Flexible benefits - SGD800 per year
