About the Role: We are seeking a driven and results-oriented Business Development professional to be one of our foundational sales hires. In this crucial role, you will be instrumental in building and scaling Persevio's client acquisition engine from the ground up, generating new partnerships, and securing job assignments for our innovative AI-powered recruitment solutions. This is a unique opportunity to directly shape our growth trajectory and drive revenue generation in a high-impact environment.
Responsibilities:
- Drive Client Acquisition and Contract Signing: Conduct proactive prospecting and lead generation to identify and engage potential employer clients. Lead compelling product demonstrations of Persevio's AI-powered recruitment platform, negotiate favorable terms, and successfully close new contracts.
- Generate and Onboard Job Assignments: Actively partner with signed clients to identify and secure active open job roles, ensuring a consistent flow of assignments for our delivery team. Facilitate seamless client onboarding onto Persevio's platform to optimize collaboration and efficiency.
- Cultivate Client Relationships: Provide essential post-assignment account management to ensure smooth candidate placement processes and foster long-term client satisfaction, contributing to repeat business and referrals.
Qualifications:
- Demonstrated success in B2B sales, with a strong track record of acquiring new clients and generating a high volume of active job assignments.
- Proven ability to navigate and thrive in a fast-paced, ambiguous, and evolving early-stage startup environment, exhibiting high resilience and a proactive ownership mindset.
- Experience in recruitment agency sales, HR/recruitment technology sales, or B2B industries selling to HR/Talent Acquisition professionals.
- Proficiency in English is required for effective communication with clients and internal teams.
- Based in Singapore and able to work in a hybrid setup.
Preferred Skills:
- Demonstrated experience selling to startups, SMEs, or mid-market companies in Singapore, with a preference for those in the technology industry.
- A quantifiable track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets (e.g., client acquisition metrics, placement volumes).
- Experience managing the full sales cycle, from prospecting and lead generation to negotiation and closing.
