The job offers in depth experience in building the business with entrepreneurial spirit, dealing and managing some of the worlds top institutional clients, pension funds, sovereign and wealth clients in the APAC Region.
Job Responsibilities:
- Working independently on various projects to enable business development. The role primarily expects the incumbent to actively generate and convert leads and identify and close all opportunities including cross sell opportunities.
- Identify contact, Convert and Manage Relationship for following group of investors: Private banks, family offices, Private Equity Funds, Fund of funds, Hedge Funds, Pension Funds, Other Institutional investor segments in the Asia Pacific Region, specifically Australia.
- Promote the brand and products drive new revenue opportunities for the business. Plan and organize all the investor roadshows and events in the region and actively engage with asset allocators locally
- Lead business development initiatives by driving desired customer behaviors & digital solutions where possible.
- Provide guidance to other associates to create a team environment where knowledge and expertise are shared.
- Remain compliant and follow the regions defined compliance framework while approaching clients and opening and managing accounts.
- Closely work with the servicing personnel of the region to ensure that all servicing related internal and external SLAs are met in a timely manner.
- Working with the Senior Sales team members to find new potential pools of capital
- Entrepreneurial, self-motivated individual with ability to initiate & develop relationship with potential clients in the region
- The role would provide pathway to lead and manage sub-regions in APAC independently
- Preferably, MBA or professional qualification with around TEN years of relevant work experience in the area of Sales/Business Development. Experience in handling international clients in asset management business is necessary.
- Prior experience of dealing in Australian market / Australian Asset allocators / Alternate assets would be an ideal fit though not a show stopper.
