Job Description

Position Summary

The ideal candidate must have knowledge of automation, field instrumentation, control system installation and implementation expertise in all of the following project phases. Understanding the business perspective, Strategic Acumen, Engagement with Stakeholders. Manage and expand existing businesses and enhance customers experience through addressing their requirements. Strategize and develop new business channels for the continuous development of the company.

This role is open to candidates who are locally based in Singapore.

Responsibilities

  • Working towards achieving company objectives and develop sales pipelines to achieve business targets
  • Collaborate closely with the internal team, provide insight on trends and identify potentials
  • Effective project management skills getting business to managing stakeholders.
  • Able to develop a project pipeline, present its business case, execute, and achieve KPIs.
  • Conduct research on new projects or clients and services and identify new customer bases.
  • Keep abreast of industry trends, competition, and new opportunities.
  • Monitor competitors activities and assist in marketing intelligence.
  • Build profile within geographic marketplace through attendance at various events and geographic marketplace.
  • Accountable in managing and developing existing and/or new businesses.
  • Responsible to create new businesses, formulate strategic partnerships with stakeholders through proactive engagements.
  • Constant prospecting, targeting and identifying potential business opportunities.
  • Liaise closely with cross-functional departments to achieve business objectives.
  • Ensure frequent meetings and business updates are conducted with relevant management, stakeholders, and suppliers.
  • Maintain regulatory compliance and relations with relevant authorities and agencies.
  • Good understanding of IOT & Digital Transformation.
  • Provide guidance to internal sales/account team/managers.

Position requirements:

  • Graduation in Chemical, Instrumentation, Electrical Engineering and or Post Graduation in Business Administration with Life Sciences experience
  • Proven track record in project management and competence in sales/business development activities
  • Able and willing to travel based on company's requirement.
  • Good understanding of IOT & Digital Transformation
  • Proficient in all Microsoft Office applications
  • Possesses strong commercial acumen with the ability to identify trends and opportunities.
  • Diligent and self-motivated. Able to work independently or as a team.
  • Result-oriented and able to multi-task
  • A flexible approach to work with the ability to adapt to a fast-paced, ever-changing environment.
  • Written and verbal communication skills - needed for communicating with a range of people, both internally and externally, as well as presentation skills
